Goldy have always loved dancing, and in 2013, she started belly dancing. She realised that the core is fundamental in belly dancing to prevent injury and to protect the body. Also, with belly dancing, she learnt how to isolate and use muscles that had never been utilised often enough. She began looking up ways to strengthen my core as well as to improve flexibility and found Pilates. Goldy thinks that belly dancing and Pilates complements each other so well!
She started Pilates in 2014, doing both reformer and matwork/small apparatus and started the Pilates Matwork course as she would like to help others to improve body awareness and posture as well as to enjoy the benefits of Pilates.

Jo completed her certificate 3 & 4 in Personal Training at the Australia Institute of Fitness before moving to London in 2006. Whilst living in London she started working for a small private studio as a PT. The owner of the studio, Jonathan Goodair, had a strong passion for Pilates and taught Jo how to incorporate Pilates into each of her PT sessions. This where Jo’s love of Pilates began! Returning back home to Australia she decide to pursue her passion for Pilates and enrolled with Polestar Pilates to complete her Certificate 4 in Comprehensive Mat Work. In February 2015 Jo joined Physique Pilates where she worked closely with the team to further develop her skills.
